The Indiana Bankers Association (IBA), Indianapolis, seeks a member engagement specialist (digital media coordinator), to begin employment in June. This newest member of the IBA team will enhance the Association’s brand by building strong online and social media communities, primarily through digital media content, with an emphasis on video production. Additionally the member engagement specialist will have primary responsibility for all IBA webpages, social media platforms and other digital communications. Responsibilities and duties: • Produce creative content for digital media distribution, including social media posts, photos, videos and infographics; • Manage the Association’s current social media accounts and potential new platforms; • Update and manage the Association’s website and mobile app; • Provide analysis of the Association’s digital media strategy, recommending changes as needed; • Produce weekly e-newsletter; • Develop and maintain training resources, guidelines and policies for Association members and staff; • Take photos and video at IBA events as needed.
Qualifications and skills: • Degree in digital media, communications, public relations, journalism or related field; • Experience in social media management, and familiarity with best practices; • Experience in video production and editing; • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar platform; • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills; • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail; • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
