We are a small association management company located in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. This person will support the activities of the President of our association management company across multiple clients.
Qualified candidates will have administrative experience in working and interacting with Boards of Directors, committees, and Boards of Governors; preparing agendas and back-up materials; taking minutes; following-up on requests; and planning and implementing project work across multiple clients. This is an excellent training position for individuals who aspire to be an association Executive Director in the future.
There will be travel to one out of state 5-day meeting each year. There will also be some evening and weekend conference calls in which this individual will need to participate.
Qualified candidates will have good interpersonal skills; be able to multi-task; be organized; have good writing skills; be creative; and work well with association leaders and members.
1-5 years experience in association management preferred.
