Membership and Communities Associate
This position requires strong organizational and prioritization skills and has heavy administrative tasks. Successful candidates will be client-service oriented and excel at teamwork. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter and someone eager to be exposed to different facets of running an organization.
Support programs to drive community engagement, including but not limited to the promotions of educational programs, chapter events, council and committee management and support
Build and sustain strong customer and member relations through attentive detail in handling member requests and volunteer interaction.
Adhere to deadlines and support the ongoing development of program project plans and process documentation
Develop and oversee weekly, monthly and annual reporting processes, templates and communication needs
Provide general meeting and event support needs, including but not limited to travel and logistics planning, presentation development, program support, etc.
Demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving skills to resolve situations in a professional and calm manner
Provide excellent client service
Provide general web support and maintenance for client websites
Oversee membership reporting and data management
Support general administrative duties including invoice processing, customer service, office services, etc.
Bachelor's degree required
1-3 years of relevant professional experience (internships will count) with administrative, membership, community, events, agency and/or association management experience desired
Demonstrated excellent customer service experience/focus
Experience managing website maintenance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and possess a positive, team-player attitude
Excellent, articulate and personable customer service skills
Sense of humor
