Description: Responsible for implementing and supporting RSNA international activities, Spotlight Courses, outreach programs, and managing support to related committees in Asia/Oceania and Europe.
Supports all international-related activities essential to meet the goal of enhancing RSNA's status as a worldwide leader in radiology.
Manages the development of Spotlight Courses scheduled in Europe, Asia and Oceania. This includes program development, market research for location selection, logistics, vendor and venue selection, price modeling, revenue projections and budget management.
Serves as project manager for international travel activities in Asia/Oceania and Europe overseeing all country research, logistics, booth management, pre-meeting planning and debrief meetings.
Provides thoughtful input on market research endeavors and provides data analysis and reports from these activities. Assists with new business development initiatives.
Coordinates the activities of Regional Committees for Europe, Asia and Oceania. Assists with the development of meeting agendas, logistical arrangements, and preparation of meeting minutes.
Leverages regional relationships to coordinate activities and facilitate local champion building, including organizing activities for pre and post annual meeting events in key regions.
Manages all RSNA international data and ensures timely contributions of data from all RSNA departments. Provides regular reports and data to appropriate departments.
Works with marketing department to manage internationally focused marketing campaigns, maintains RSNA.org international marketing pages, and supports committee pages.
Executes all outreach programs related to the Asia/Oceania and Europe regions as directed by the Committee for International Radiology Education.
Assist Assistant Director in developing strategy for growth of Spotlight Courses in the assigned regions.
Bachelor's Degree required
3 or more years of experience in international business, international relations, association management (preferably in healthcare) and non-profit environment.
Experience in meeting/tradeshow planning, managing educational programs and management/administrative support to leadership groups (Regional Committees), preferably for associations.
Understand association structures and processes.
Strong project/program management skills including the ability to manage concurrent projects/programs from planning to execution. Organized, self-directed, detail and deadline oriented.
Experience working independently, managing priorities and multiple deadlines, and with all levels of staff and volunteers.
Adapt quickly to new information, requirements, and priorities.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, foreign language proficiency preferred.
Must maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
Problem-solving and collaborative attitude.
Intermediate level skill in MS Office
Excellent diplomacy and cross-cultural communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment with staff and volunteer leadership
International travel to various meetings required
